Day 18

On Monday, July 22, 2024, I arrived at the PNP office at 7:30 AM, eager to participate in Brigada Eskwela, an event dedicated to preparing schools for the new academic year. I had the privilege of joining PEMS Jose Bobby F. Salinas and PCPT Emil Baro in this important community effort.

Throughout the day, we worked together to clean and organize the school environment. Whether it was painting classrooms, clearing out debris, or setting up furniture, every task felt like a meaningful contribution to the community. It was a day filled with teamwork, as we all pitched in to make sure the school was ready to welcome students back.

Participating in Brigada Eskwela was a fulfilling experience. It allowed me to see the positive impact of community service firsthand, and it was inspiring to work alongside dedicated PNP officers like PEMS Salinas and PCPT Baro. This day reminded me of the broader role the police play in supporting and uplifting the communities they serve.
